About
Good people lose out to bad resumes. We're fixing that.
CVEmber is a resume builder made in Bengaluru. You paste your LinkedIn profile or upload an old resume; it turns what you have into results-first bullets in a template both hiring software and recruiters can read.
About the author
Rajesh Kumar. I've changed jobs seven or eight times in a 16-year corporate career at IBM, Jones Lang LaSalle, Mphasis and HCL, and every move started with a resume I rebuilt myself. I know what it feels like to be judged by software before a human ever reads your name.
Today's job market is tough, and I believe it is unfair. Boards are pushing money into AI, data centres and AI acquisitions, and I see good people being let go to free up that budget, often for nothing they did wrong. When that is happening to the people around me, I feel it is my duty to help them land their next job.
That is why I built CVEmber, with everything a candidate needs in one place: an ATS checker that shows you on the spot what a screening system reads, tailoring to a specific job ad with your approval on every line, ATS-tested templates, and free tools such as the resignation letter generator. It is free to build and preview, you pay once only if you download, and nothing is invented about you. What you read here comes from my own experience and from public sources anyone can check, and wherever a page states a law, a price or a rule, it links to the source. I do my due diligence to make this information as accurate as I can, so you can rely on it when you apply, resign or move on.
What we believe
- Your facts, your approval. Our AI never changes your employers, dates, degrees or certifications, and never invents facts outright. In Stretch, it may suggest bolder wording and bounded, clearly marked numbers, and nothing is added until you confirm it. Every change waits for your approval, and your original wording is always one click away.
- See it before you pay. Build, tailor and preview the whole resume free. Pay once, from , only when you want the file. No trial, no subscription, no auto-renewal.
- Made for job seekers, not recruiters. We don't sell your data, show ads, or use your resume to train AI models.

How these pages are made
The guides, resume and cover letter examples, country formats, letter generators and comparisons on this site are built by Rajesh Kumar, who is responsible for them and reviews them before they go live. Where a page states a fact about a law, notice period, format or price, it is taken from an official or primary source, which the page lists under “Sources” or “Checked on” with the date. Pages where that is not yet done are being worked through. Sample resumes and letters use made-up people, companies and contact details. Nothing on these pages is legal or career advice for your own case.
Found a mistake? Write to Rajesh Kumar at rajesh@cvember.com or use the contact page, and we will correct the page and update its date.
