Is CVEmber really free?
Yes. Building, editing, previewing, recolouring and scoring are free, with no card required, and so are your first 5 tailorings (5 per account, for life). You pay only when a resume is finished and you want the file: Starter (1 month), Pro (3 months) or Pro Lifetime (no expiry). One payment, no renewal.
Will I be charged again?
No. Every plan is a one-time payment. Nothing renews, nothing is saved for later charges, and there is nothing to cancel.
What happens when my pass ends?
Nothing is deleted and nothing renews. Your resumes and tailored versions stay in your account, and building, editing, previewing and scoring stay free. Downloading, printing and emailing resumes pauses until you buy again, and CVEmber MCP (Pro) pauses with it. Files you already downloaded are yours to keep. Lifetime never ends.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. When you move up to a higher plan, the days you haven't used on Starter or Pro are credited, so you pay only the difference and the new plan starts straight away. Buying the same plan again simply adds time after your current access ends, at full price. Lifetime is the top plan, so there is nothing above it.
What does “Works inside ChatGPT and Claude” mean?
With Pro or Pro Lifetime you can connect CVEmber to ChatGPT or Claude and tailor, score and download your resumes by chatting with them, without opening the website.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes: a full refund within 7 days if you haven't downloaded anything with your download access. You also see the complete, finished resume on screen before paying, so there's little to be surprised by. If a file you download is broken or doesn't match what you saw in the editor, we put that right too. Message us from Help & Support with your receipt.
Do you store my card details?
No. Payments are processed by Razorpay (with PayPal as an option outside India); card numbers never touch our servers, and nothing is saved for future charges. In India most people pay with UPI — it takes about five seconds.
What does Lifetime mean?
Pro Lifetime is one payment for access for as long as CVEmber operates, under the same fair-use limits as every plan. There's no end date and nothing renews. Like every plan it is covered by our fair-use terms; the Terms list them.
Why do I see prices in dollars?
Outside India, prices are in US dollars and you pay with PayPal. In India they are in rupees, with UPI and Indian cards. Checkout charges the currency for where you are.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes. Every payment gets a downloadable invoice in your Billing history, which you can use for reimbursement from a college placement cell or employer.
