The AI resume builder, free to build, that keeps your facts.
This AI resume builder is free to build and preview. It takes your old resume or LinkedIn PDF and turns it into a clean resume, rewrites your lines for the job you paste, and lays it out in an ATS-tested template. It changes how you say it, never what you did.
How the AI resume builder works
- Bring what you have. A PDF or Word resume, your LinkedIn profile, or rough notes. The AI reads it into sections: contact, experience, education, skills.
- Improve any line. In the editor, rewrite a summary or a set of bullets at three levels (Original, Strong or Stretch) and keep or undo each change.
- Tailor it to a job. Paste the job ad. You see how your experience fits, choose how bold the rewrite should be (Faithful, Confident or Stretch), answer a few questions, and approve every change. It is saved as its own version; your original stays as it was.
- Download a real PDF. Real, selectable text in a template tested with commercial resume parsers.
What the AI will never change
Employer names, job titles, dates, degrees, colleges, certifications and your contact details are locked. The AI can suggest a number where your line has none, but it marks it as a suggestion for you to confirm or replace, and it never adds an employer, a degree or a date.
Is this an AI resume analyzer?
People look for an AI resume analyzer or a resume checker AI to find out whether a resume works. Here, two checks run on your resume. The editor scores the finished PDF and lists what to fix, and the free ATS checker tells you whether hiring software can read the file. Neither is a human resume review: they measure readability and structure, and the AI rewriting helps you word each line. To tailor the wording to a job, paste the job ad and choose how bold the rewrite should be.

Will the AI make things up on my resume?
No. It rewrites how you describe your work but keeps every employer, title, date, degree and number you gave it. Where a number would help and you didn't give one, it either leaves a highlighted [number] gap or, in Stretch, suggests a clearly marked number for you to confirm or remove. Anything new it suggests is shown for you to accept or remove.
Is the AI resume builder free?
Building, AI rewriting, tailoring and previewing are free. You pay once, from , only when you want to download, print or email the file. Nothing renews.
Can it build a resume from my LinkedIn profile?
Yes. Save your LinkedIn profile as a PDF from LinkedIn and upload it, or paste the text. The AI turns it into a structured resume you can edit.
Is an AI-written resume ATS-friendly?
The words come from the AI; the layout comes from CVEmber's templates, which are tested with commercial resume parsers. The ATS score in the editor is measured on the exact PDF you will download.
How is this different from asking a chatbot?
A chatbot gives you text. CVEmber keeps your original, saves a tailored version for each job, checks it against the facts you gave, scores the finished PDF and lays it out in a tested template.
