This Enhancv review covers what you get from Enhancv, a design-led resume builder with a free week, paid Pro plans and a set of writing and tailoring tools, and whether it is worth paying for. We read its pricing page on 18 October 2026.
We did not build a resume inside Enhancv for this review, so what follows is what Enhancv publishes, quoted with the date we read it. Where a line is Enhancv's claim and not a result, we say so.

Key takeaways
- Enhancv leads with design: its pricing page lists hundreds of templates and thousands of design options.
- The free plan is valid for 7 days, with a limit of 12 section items and Enhancv branding on the resume.
- Pro removes the branding and the item limit, and adds 300 resumes and cover letters, content suggestions and an ATS check.
- Pro is billed every month, quarter or half-year. The quarterly plan shows ₹1990 billed every 3 months.
- Its tailoring tool shows what to add from a pasted job ad. It is described as a way to pass ATS screening, which is Enhancv's claim.
- Enhancv suits people who want a designed layout. It is a weaker fit if you want a plain file or a payment that does not recur.
What Enhancv is and who it is for
Enhancv is a browser-based builder that puts layout and visual choice first. Its pricing page describes a resume builder that guides you through the process, with help on content and on choosing a design while you focus on presenting yourself.
It calls its builder one that makes a resume "approved by recruiters". That is its own wording, and the page does not say which recruiters or how they were asked.
How Enhancv works
You build the resume in the browser from a template and a set of sections, and the pricing page lists real-time content suggestions as part of Pro. It also lists an AI-powered tool that checks grammar and punctuation, and flags clichés, repetition and vague wording.
We did not run these tools ourselves, so we cannot say how accurate the suggestions are. Treat any suggested wording as a draft to correct, since only you know what is true about your work.
Enhancv's main features
This is what the pricing page lists, together with what it leaves out.
Templates and design options
Enhancv describes hundreds of professionally designed, ATS-friendly templates, tens of sections and thousands of combinations. The free plan lists all resume templates and access to all design tools.
Content suggestions and the mistake check
Real-time content suggestions are listed under Pro. The mistake checker is described as AI-powered and aimed at errors, clichés, repetition and vague wording. Neither is shown with a sample on the page.
Tailoring to a job and the ATS check
Enhancv says you paste a job ad into the builder and it shows what you need to include to pass the ATS screening. An ATS check is also listed under Pro.
Enhancv pricing and the free plan
Enhancv has a free plan and Pro plans billed monthly, quarterly or every six months. The prices below are what its pricing page showed to a visitor in India on 18 October 2026, in Indian rupees.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | ₹0, valid for 7 days | All resume templates, basic sections, all design tools, a maximum of 12 section items and Enhancv branding |
| Pro Quarterly | ₹1990 billed every 3 months | 300 resumes and cover letters, all templates, real-time content suggestions, ATS check, Pro sections, no branding, unlimited section items |
Billing: the quarterly plan is billed every three months, and the page also shows a struck-through ₹2667 and a per-month figure that did not display clearly when we read it. Check the final amount and the renewal terms at checkout, and read the refund answer in Enhancv's FAQ before you pay.
How to read Enhancv's claims
The page speaks of a resume "approved by recruiters" and of templates that are ATS-friendly. It gives no method, number or named test behind either phrase, so we read them as marketing.
Treat both phrases as positioning: a template is ATS-friendly only once a parser has read it, and Enhancv does not show that step. The same caution applies to every builder, including us.
Pros and cons of Enhancv
Pros
- A wide range of designs and design tools, including on the free plan
- Real-time content suggestions and a mistake check on Pro
- A tailoring tool that works from a pasted job ad
- Up to 300 resumes and cover letters on Pro
Cons
- The free plan lasts 7 days, caps items at 12 and adds Enhancv branding
- Pro is billed every period rather than paid once
- ATS-friendly and approved-by-recruiters wording comes with no published test
- More design freedom makes a plain, parser-safe file less certain
Who Enhancv is best for
A good fit if
- You want a distinctive, designed resume
- You are happy to pay by the month or quarter while you apply
- You like writing suggestions as you type
A weaker fit if
- You want a plain layout that is safe for software to read
- You want one payment that does not recur
- You want a free plan with no time limit
Enhancv review: final verdict
Enhancv is a design-first builder with writing help on the paid plan. If you want a resume that looks distinctive and you will use Pro while you search, it is worth a look during the free week.
Read its wording with care. The ATS and recruiter lines are claims without a published test, the free plan ends after a week, and Pro is billed every period. If you want a plain, parser-tested file and one payment, the comparison below shows where we differ.
