SEO Resume & CV Examples

An SEO executive or analyst helps a website get found on Google and other search engines, and an SEO CV or resume has to prove it with numbers. An SEO executive resume should prove skills such as keyword research, on-page SEO and technical SEO (crawl, indexing, speed) with numbers from your own work. Below are three samples, entry-level to senior, with summaries, bullets and skills.

FAQ

SEO Executive resume questions, answered.

Still unsure? Send us a message — a real person replies.

What skills should an SEO executive list?

Keyword research, on-page and technical SEO, structured data, content briefs, internal linking, link earning, Search Console, GA4 and a crawler. Add soft skills such as clear reporting and working with writers and developers. Match the job posting.

Should I include client names?

Only with permission. Otherwise describe the industry and the result, for example "a retail site with 30,000 product pages". Clients can be sensitive about traffic and revenue figures, so check before you share them.

Is digital marketing experience useful for SEO?

Yes, but lead with SEO results for SEO roles. Skills in analytics, paid search, email or content help, so list them in one line after your SEO work. Hiring managers read first for organic traffic, rankings and revenue.

What is a good SEO specialist resume summary?

Write two lines with your years, the kind of site and one organic result, such as "grew organic revenue by 140% in two years". Add your top tool or skill. This is the line an SEO manager reads first, so keep it free of vague words.
