FAQ

Accounts Receivable resume questions, answered.

Still unsure? Send us a message — a real person replies.

What are good accounts receivable resume keywords?

Use the words from the job posting that are true for you, such as invoicing, cash application, collections, aging reports, DSO, account reconciliation, dispute resolution, credit holds, and the system name (QuickBooks, NetSuite or SAP). Place them in real experience lines, not as a list.

How do I write an AR resume with no experience?

Lead with accounting coursework or a degree, then an internship, part-time billing job or volunteer bookkeeping with numbers of payments applied or calls made. List Excel and any accounting software. One page is enough.

Should I show DSO on my resume?

Yes, if you can. Days sales outstanding shows how fast customers pay, so a line such as "cut DSO from 52 to 38 days" proves your impact better than a list of duties.
