What goes in a receptionist job description for a resume?
Turn the usual duties into lines with numbers: answering phones, greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, handling mail and records, and resolving complaints. A receptionist job description resume line reads best as "answered about 120 calls a day on a 6-line board" than "answered phones".
Is there a CV template for a receptionist?
Yes. A CV template for a receptionist, or a receptionist CV template, runs: contact details, short profile, experience with numbers, education and skills, on one page. In the UK the same document is called a CV, and a CV template receptionist applicants use works the same way.
Do receptionists need a certification?
No license or certification is listed as a requirement. BLS says a high school diploma or equivalent is the usual education and training is short-term on the job. List a certificate such as a medical office course only if you hold it and the job asks for it.
How is a front desk receptionist resume different from a dental receptionist resume?
A front desk receptionist resume shows visitors a day, calls handled, scheduling and the phone and booking systems. A dental receptionist resume adds appointment and insurance verification work, patient records and the practice software. Hotel front desk resume examples add check-ins a shift and the property system. Use the setting of the job you want.
