Our client, a mid-sized manufacturer, believed its purchasing was already efficient. I analysed around 14,000 purchase orders from two years, grouped them by category and supplier, and compared prices paid across plants. The pattern was clear in four categories: the same items were being bought at very different prices by different plants. I built the savings model, tested it with the plant heads, and drafted the steering committee deck we presented to the CFO. The client agreed to act on ₹3.6 crore of savings.
I have reached the national finals of two strategy case competitions, and I work comfortably in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL and Power BI.
