FAQ

Uber Driver resume questions, answered.

Still unsure? Send us a message — a real person replies.

How do I list Uber driving on a resume?

List it as Independent Rideshare Driver (Uber) with the dates, then add trips, miles, rating and one reliability result. Say that you were self-employed. This turns a gig into a real job entry and keeps your work history free of gaps.

Can I use Uber driver experience for a customer service job?

Yes. Rideshare driving is customer service in a car, so show the rider interactions: trips, rating, complaints solved and tough situations handled. Match those lines to the new job's words, such as communication, problem-solving and punctuality.

Should I put my driver rating on a resume?

Yes, if it is strong, and give it with context: the rating, the number of trips behind it and the period. A 4.9 rating over 2,000 trips is credible, while a rating with no trip count is not.
