Warehouse Resume Examples

A warehouse worker receives, stores, picks, packs and ships goods: unloading trucks, checking quantities against packing slips, putting stock away in the right locations, picking orders with a handheld scanner, packing and labeling parcels, and loading outbound trailers. A warehouse worker resume should prove skills such as picking and packing, RF scanners and WMS, and receiving and put-away with numbers from your own work. Below are three samples, entry-level to senior, with summaries, bullets and skills.

FAQ

Warehouse Worker resume questions, answered.

Still unsure? Send us a message — a real person replies.

How do I write a warehouse resume with no experience?

Lead with any seasonal, temp or retail stockroom work with a number, such as items picked an hour. Add that you can work any shift, lift what the job posting asks, and follow safety rules, then your diploma and any short safety course.

Which warehouse skills for a resume matter most?

The ones in the job posting, shown with proof: picking and packing rates, RF scanner and WMS use, forklift or reach truck training, cycle counting accuracy and a clean safety record. Put the equipment in your skills line and the numbers in your experience lines.

How do I write a warehouse job description for a resume?

Turn each duty into a result: not "responsible for receiving" but "received 12 to 15 trailers a day and cut unload time from 90 to 55 minutes". Cover receiving, put-away, picking, packing, loading and inventory counts, keeping only the duties the new job asks for.

Should I mention my pick rate?

Yes. Pick or pack rate against target is the number warehouse supervisors track every shift, so put it in your first experience line, written as items or cases an hour against the target.
